Hi everyone, my name is Lauren. I’m very excited to join North River Sing as an Alto after moving to Downtown Jersey City with my fiancé, Simon, and cat, Sophie, in the fall of 2023. I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, where I was always singing and an active member of choir from 4th grade through high school. For college, I attended University of Dayton in Ohio and majored in Chemical Engineering. I continued to sing in choir and cantored at church through college, but I haven’t been part of an organized choir since then. I’m very excited to be part of a choir again and to fill that void! Since graduating in 2012, I’ve moved around quite a bit for work. I’ve lived in Louisiana, Delaware, London, England (where I met my fiancé), and now New Jersey. I currently work remotely as a Supply Chain Manager for a manufacturing company. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and going to concerts and Broadway shows.
