I’m Corey and I am a new NRS member as of Spring 2025. My pronouns are he/him/his. I was born and raised on the Jersey Shore, but I moved to Jersey City in 2023 after graduating from Stevens Institute of Technology, where I majored in Engineering Management (B.E. ‘23). Nowadays, I am a project engineer working on various affordable housing construction renovation projects in Manhattan.

I would say I got bit by the performing arts bug when my third grade teacher cast me as a mischievous leprechaun in our class play or when I picked up a violin for the first time as a fourth grader. From there on I participated in school orchestras, school/community theatre programs, and chamber/symphonic orchestras. When I went to Stevens I also got involved in their Choir, Orchestra, Jazz Band, President’s Ensemble, Dramatic Society, and Shakespeare projects.

I also enjoy vinyl collecting, baking, going on walks with a sweet treat (often at the Riverview Farmer’s Market), practicing violin or guitar, reality television binging, hiking, crocheting, gaming, crafting, and spending time with my family, friends, and my boyfriend.

I’m so glad to have found this much needed musical outlet and this lovely community of singers!
