I’m from Dublin, Ireland and moved to New York many years ago. In Ireland I was a music journalist; I now work in book publishing and dabble in other kinds of writing on the side. As kids, my siblings and I would “entertain” our parents by singing harmony in the backseat on long car journeys – maybe that’s why I love singing with this chorus so much. I live in the West Side area of Jersey City, near Lincoln Park, with my husband, Mike, and our two boys, Stevie and Jude. I founded the Facebook group Jersey City Birds and love birdwatching and being out in nature. Come join us for a walk one day! I’m also a co-leader of the Hudson County chapter of the Native Plant Society of NJ and a big gardening nerd, trying to restore wildlife habitat to Jersey City one little patch at a time.
