Hi all! I’m Angela, and in my second season with NRS. As a recovering music school dropout (@Grease – kind of), I took a long hiatus from singing formally after changing my major from classical voice to journalism halfway through college. Completely untethered from what I thought I would do for a living, I threw myself into things like the extracurriculars and study abroad I hadn’t had time to do as a music major, much more eagerly than I did into my academics. Miraculously, I graduated, and embarked on a long and winding professional road that eventually led me to travel and tourism PR, which I absolutely love. It takes a lot of my time and energy, so I have recently realized the importance of fulfilling hobbies and a strong community. When the audition schedule was sent around for spring 2026, after a couple of years of telling myself I’d be too busy, I finally decided to join North River Sing “for a season” and quickly realized I would keep coming back. I have found so much joy in the music and community in this group, and am excited to continue getting to know each of you!
