Jake Wasserman is a journalist based in Jersey City, where he has lived with his wife Emily and their beagle Theo near Van Vorst Park since 2021. Jake has been singing from a pretty young age, participating in his high school’s choir and men’s ensemble, the New Jersey All-State Chorus, Rutgers University’s all-male a’cappella group Casual Harmony, and the ill-fated indie rock band Hartwell that played in Rutgers basements from 2017 to 2018. North River Sing is Jake’s first time singing in what feels like a long time, and he’s so excited to be back.
