Dina Kanner

Soprano II

I got my singing start as a young child performing Annie on demand for my family, eventually making it to the stage in middle and high school theater productions. I then attended Rutgers University where I double-majored in Music and Communications and sang in the University Choir. Throughout my college years I was also a member of Kol Halayla, Rutgers’ premier Jewish a cappella group, and took on the role of Music Director in my senior year.

Though I haven’t performed in many years (until now!), these days I satisfy my love of music by working for an independent record label as Director of Production, where I product manage new releases and all things vinyl manufacturing. My favorite things to talk about are books (I’m an avid sci-fi, fantasy, and romance fan), gymnastics, and my dog Lyra who lives with my husband and me here in JC.
