Melissa Ragsdale moved to Jersey City from Brooklyn in March 2020 and is thrilled to join North River Sing as an Alto! Originally from Austin, TX, her last choir experience was as a Canyon Creek Elementary School “Singing Star,” but she has a long, storied history as an instrumentalist: she plays piano, euphonium, trombone, and ukulele, and she used to teach early childhood music. She now makes her living as a writer and editor, and she’s working on a science fiction novel. P.S. She has a sweet little dog named Pop-Tart!
